Original antique 19th-century Victorian Black Americana chromolithograph advertising trade card for "The Alden Fruit Vinegar," printed by Trautmann, Bailey & Blampey (N.Y.). The front features a comedic illustration depicting an African American boy sliding down an orchard ladder, losing his straw hat full of apples while dogs fight underneath. The reverse features crisp black typography advertising merchant "STONE & CO. / Dealers in Staple and Fancy Groceries / Main St., Liberty, VA." In exceptionally clean, near-mint antique condition with vibrant original color, clean margins, sharp corners, and a flat, undamaged reverse.
