Original antique 19th-century Victorian Black Americana advertising trade card for "The Alden Fruit Vinegar," lithographed by Trautmann, Bailey & Blampey. The front features a colorful chromolithograph illustration depicting two African American children in a wooden rocking chair, an apple basket on the floor, and a figure in a straw hat eating a slice of watermelon through the window. The reverse is printed with merchant advertising for "STONE & CO. / Dealers in Staple and Fancy Groceries / Main St., Liberty, VA." In exceptionally clean, very good antique condition with rich color, sharp corners, flat cardstock, and minimal surface wear.
