This vintage pair of mid-century plastic animal figurines includes a marbled orange and pink giraffe stamped "DON MANNING" on the rear leg, alongside a coordinating sage green camel marked "DES. PAT. PEND." Designed by renowned mid-century modernist sculptor Don Manning, these stylized, fluidly curved figures are prime examples of the biomorphic "Animalier" plastic art toys produced in the 1950s by NOSCO in Erie, Pennsylvania. Both injection-molded pieces show sharp structural preservation with crisp molded detailing, minimal surface scuffing, and bright, unfaded vintage coloration, making them highly desirable for mid-century design and toy collectors.
