Product Overview
Add traditional holiday charm to your spring collection with this vintage German papier-mâché Easter egg candy container and hanging ornament. Crafted from two interlocking cardboard/pulp halves, it features a vibrant lithograph illustration on a deep red background depicting bunnies, fluffy yellow chicks, spring florals, and pussy willows framed by embossed Dresden-style paper lace edging. The interior is lined with a classic blue floral calico print and includes vintage green cello Easter grass and a hanging cord at the top. Unmarked, typical of vintage mid-century German and European Easter novelty exports. In very good vintage condition with bright graphics, secure rim closure, and tight seams, showing expected light surface crazing, edge paper wear, and minor vintage patina.
