This is an original antique Victorian monochrome advertising trade card (c. 1880s-1890s) for Galvin & Graver of Canajoharie, New York. The lithographer is unsigned; the maker is unknown.
Printed in dark sepia/brown ink, the front illustrates a nursemaid figure holding a crying infant behind a picket fence, with a draped hanging sheet printed with store promotional text: "Compliments of GALVIN & GRAVER, Canajoharie, N. Y. Boots, Shoes, Rubbers, &c., All new Goods and Low Prices. No trouble to show Goods. Give us a call." The reverse side is completely blank card stock.
