This is an original vintage 1949 Multi Products Inc. molded composite souvenir thermometer.
Crafted from molded faux-wood composition / Syroco-style composite material, this freestanding novelty piece depicts a grinning figural character peeking from behind a vertical thermometer tower. The base features an original yellow and red decal reading "SOUVENIR OF FLORIDA", and the lower rear edge is embossed with the maker's mark: "MULTI PROD. INC. 1949 ©". The brass-tone gauge plate is marked "MADE IN U.S.A." with calibrated Fahrenheit degree markings.
Condition is good vintage with authentic age-related character, displaying original molded finish, honest surface patina, light paint loss to the white/cloth area, and missing glass thermometer tube (gauge plate and mounts remain intact).
