This is an authentic vintage unposted (unused) linen-era postcard (c. 1940), published by Curt Teich & Co., featuring a racist "Black Americana" dialect poem. The illustrative content depicts a caricature of a Black minister in a grey top hat and suit holding a "HOLY BIBLE," alongside illustrative vignetts of a woman applying powder and boys playing dice ("Galloping Dominoes").
The extensive text is a racist dialect poem titled, "The DARKEY PREACHER in FLORIDA," utilizing extreme phonetic dialect and racial slurs to caricature African American religious practice. The card is a standard "GENUINE CURTEICH-CHICAGO 'C. T. ART-COLORTONE' POST CARD (REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.)" Part of the "73F-TROPICAL FLORIDA SERIES", and bears production number 9A-H1635. Condition is excellent, uncirculated, complete and presented in a clear protective sleeve.
